Vasquez Morning Glow captures a quiet moment in a rugged desert landscape featuring the famous Vasquez Rocks, a backdrop for many movie locations like Star Trek. The 24 by 36-inch painting reveals the distinct textures of the rocky formations and the delicate variety of desert plants, all illuminated by the soft warmth of early light. Creating this piece deepened my appreciation for how light interacts with natural surfaces, bringing out details we might otherwise overlook. It reminds me that even in the starkest environments, there is a calm beauty that invites reflection and renewal. I hope this painting encourages you to find those moments of stillness and connection wherever you are.
